Terms of Use

Last updated: January 9, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NotionFlow (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Looking for the Privacy Policy? See Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

NotionFlow is an AI-assisted productivity tool that helps you transform your documents and selected Notion pages into structured outputs (including summaries and Notion dashboards). The Service is operated by Arthur Renard (the “Operator”).

NotionFlow is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Notion Labs, Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where required by applicable law) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

  • Registration and access: You may need an account to use the Service. Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication, including optional Google sign-in.
  • Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Third-party accounts: If you sign in with Google or connect Notion, those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

4. The Service and integrations

The Service allows you to upload files, select Notion pages, and run AI-assisted workflows that may produce summaries and may create or modify pages and databases in your Notion workspace (if you connect Notion and grant access).

When you use the Notion integration, you authorize the Service to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant in Notion. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting Notion in the Service and/or removing the integration in Notion.

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, Notion, Cloudinary, Firebase/Google, and an AI provider). Availability and functionality of the Service may depend on these providers, and we are not responsible for interruptions caused by them.

5. Your content

5.1 Ownership

As between you and the Operator, you retain ownership of the content you upload, submit, or make available through the Service (“User Content”).

5.2 Permission to process your content

You grant the Operator a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise process your User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including:

  • uploading and storing files with our file storage provider,
  • extracting text/images from your files for processing,
  • sending relevant content to third-party providers you use through the Service (e.g., AI provider, Notion),
  • generating outputs and writing them into your Notion workspace at your direction.

5.3 Your responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have all rights necessary to provide User Content and to grant the rights described in these Terms,
  • your User Content and your use of the Service will not violate any law or the rights of any third party (including intellectual property and privacy rights),
  • you will not submit content that you are not permitted to share with the Service, the AI provider, or Notion.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not:

  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities,
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems,
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service (including by uploading malicious code),
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent technical limitations of the Service except to the extent permitted by applicable law,
  • use the Service to infringe or violate the rights of others.

7. AI features and outputs

The Service includes AI-assisted features that may produce outputs based on your inputs. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Outputs may be inaccurate: AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inconsistencies and may not reflect authoritative information.
  • You are responsible for review: You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them or publishing them (including in Notion).
  • No professional advice: Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

8. Fees and plans

The Service may be offered free of charge and/or may include paid features. If we introduce paid plans or features, we will disclose pricing and any additional terms before you purchase or subscribe.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the Operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service. You agree that we may use such feedback without restriction and without any obligation to you.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, used the Service in a way that could cause us harm or liability, or where required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, the Operator’s total liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you have not paid, a nominal amount).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law rules. Where permitted by applicable law, you agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the courts of Lausanne, Switzerland.

If you are a consumer, this section does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including any mandatory rules on jurisdiction.

Additional legal terms:

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
  • No waiver: A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact the Operator at https://www.arthurenard.me/contact.
